NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Course and Missouri Concealed and Carry Endorsement
Students learn the NRA's rules for safe gun handling; pistol parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; range rules; shooting from the bench rest position, and two handed standing positions; cleaning the pistol; and continued opportunities for skill development.
Students will receive the NRA Guide to Basics of Pistol Shooting handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, Winchester/NRA Marksmanship Qualification booklet, Basics of Pistol Shooting Student Exam, and course completion certificate.
Our Concealed Carry Endorsement-Firearms Safety Training Course meets the mandatory training requirements established by Missouri State Statute and is approved by the standards set forth by each individual Missouri Sheriff's Department. The course teaches firearm safety and basic principles of Handgun Marksmanship, care and cleaning, Holstering, Legal requirements of the state for certification, Laws relating to concealed carry, and justifiable use of force.
Time: 8 hours,interactive classroom and live fire range qualification.
Firearms and Ammunition: We prefer that students bring the firearm that they plan to carry as part of their CCW license. If you do not own a firearm, we will provide you with one from our extensive gun rental counter for no additional fee. Students will have to qualify with EITHER a semi-automatic or a revolver as part of the class. Ammunition is not provided as part of the course, but we have great prices on all of the standard size target ammunition (22LR, 380, 38, 9MM, 40, 45) and they are in stock. You are required to shoot a minimum of 40 rounds, 20 rounds for practice and 20 rounds for qualification.
